“Keep things simple.”
Alexander was never very interested in sports growing up, however his desire to take care of his physical health lead him to the gym. After experiencing the positive impact that training and fitness had on his life, he decided to become a personal trainer. Alexander now enjoys helping others feel better about themselves in a multitude of ways.
The advice that Alexander gives to people who are just beginning their fitness journey is to keep thing simple and maintainable. He says that this is much more valuable than a complex and maximum effort schedule, because that will only lead to burn out and a poor relationship with exercise.
Alexander’s training style is centred around strength training. Whilst his background is predominantly in bodybuilding and powerlifting training, Alexander also has experience in endurance cycling and running, and CrossFit and Olympic style lifting as well.
Outside of the gym, Alexander loves music, and is a semi-professional wedding singer and guitarist. On top of this, he also plays social netball.
