Ange grew up playing a range of sport before being exposed to an elite training environment through soccer at Perth Glory and eventually moving into AFLW with Fremantle Dockers. As a trainer, Ange loves to help her clients build healthy habits so that they can perform better in their chosen sport, and also in everyday life. She says that seeing her clients take control of their own health and happiness is the most rewarding part of her role.
For those just starting their fitness journey, Ange recommends taking it one small step at a time, to find something you enjoy doing in terms of movement, and to do it often. Consistent effort over time is how the best progress is made.
Ange describes her training style as structured yet adaptable so that she has the flexibility to create tailored programs for each client. She usually focuses on a combination of strength and conditioning based on her client’s needs.
When not at the gym, you’ll find Ange playing footy for Freo Dockers AFLW, going for a dip at the beach, grabbing a good coffee and spending time with all her favourite people.
