Blake Hargraves

“Know your why.”

Growing up playing team sports meant that Blake suffered from various niggling injuries. He became curious about human anatomy and learning movement patterns and functionality to assist his body in sport. He also struggled with his mental health and body image in his late teens and began a journey of self-growth which began by walking through the front doors of a gym. As a trainer, Blake enjoys seeing the changes people can make in both their physical and mental state, as he knows first-hand the difference training can make to both your body and your mind.

To those who want to start their fitness journey, Blake advises to set a goal that excites you when you think about it. He says there will be those days where the "motivation" isn't there, so having that goal is a great backbone for your purpose and reason of why you are doing this.

Blake’s training style varies depending on his clients’ goals but is often focused on developing both the body and the mind.

Outside of the gym, Blake’s interests can be described in 3 words: footy, footy, and footy!
