“Find sustainable ways to make changes.”
Brooke was an active kid growing up, however once she began working her first full-time jobs and doing shift work as a nurse, her life began prioritising those adult pressures. After 3 years of taking care of everyone but herself, Brooke knew she needed to change something. She decided to join a gym and began learning from a trainer how to strength train. The change in the way she felt about herself was second to none. Brooke says that during this time her trainers inspired her to live a healthier life, and now as a trainer herself, she enjoys being able to help inspire others to become their happiest and healthiest self.
To those who are just beginning their fitness journey, Brooke says to just start. She recommends asking trusted people for advice, and if you can, hire a coach to teach you sustainable ways to make changes. Brooke also says to try different types of exercise until you find something you love to do consistently.
Brooke provides a safe space to talk about all things health, fitness and bodies. She welcomes her client’s to open up about their past struggles, so that together she can work with them to make healthy, sustainable changes in their lives.
Outside of the gym, Brooke enjoys spending time with friends, going hiking, going for brunch, and anything that revolves around food and fitness.
