“There’s no end game.”
After finding it difficult to commit to team sports after having children, Corinne joined a gym so she could work out how and when she wanted. After a diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis, strength in her muscles and bones became more important than ever. Corinne said after pregnancy, birth, surgeries, and her R.A. diagnosis it became extremely difficult at times to accept herself as who she was.
The gym helped her in so many ways, so she wanted to help others see how becoming fitter and stronger can drastically improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
For those just beginning their fitness journey, Corinne says to remember that there is no end game. She says that it is a matter of committing to your health and fitness and incorporating it into your lifestyle. Corinne advises to set short term, achievable goals and soon enough it'll become a way of life, and that's the real goal.
Corinne believes that resistance and strength training is key. She also throws in cardio and functional training for the perfect combination!
