“Consistency is key.”
Emmanuel first got into fitness by playing soccer and his desire to keep fit and healthy. After building knowledge and experience over the years, he realised he wanted to share what he knew, rather than keep it to himself. The part of being a trainer that Emmanuel loves the most is seeing the smile on his clients’ face when they achieve a goal they didn’t think they could reach.
The advice that Ivan gives to people who are just beginning their fitness journey is that consistency is key. He says that whether you want to commit to 2 or 4 days per week, it doesn’t matter, if you remain consistent then results will follow.
Emmanuel likes to train his clients with a focus on technique and form. He says that by doing so he can achieve better results in the long run as there is less chance of injuring yourself.
Outside of the gym Emmanuel still enjoys kicking the soccer ball around, and studies on the side.
