“Find consistency first.”

When Josh first got a job working at a gym, he started to exercise a lot more and started developing better habits. From his personal experience, he decided to become a personal trainer to help others achieve their goals and become the best versions of themselves.

Josh believes the hardest part of starting a fitness journey is not the exercising itself, but finding consistency and getting yourself into a routine. Josh recommends setting yourself a weekly goal of getting into the gym a certain amount of times to get into a routine, and then progress from there.

Josh describes his training style as a focus on form and technique, as well as endurance and conditioning. This then follows onto the strength aspect of training.

If he’s not in the gym, there’s a good chance you’ll find Josh playing basketball, watching AFL, or catching up with family and friends.

What's your favourite meal?

This is a tough one - I am a sucker for a good old spicy curry, but I can't turn down a chicken parma and chips

What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?

The logical answer would be where am I, but I would most likely ask if someone had anything to eat/drink

What's your favourite gym exercise?

Either bent over rows or deadlifts
