As a child and a teenager, Kris always enjoyed sports, however struggled with her weight. It wasn’t until she finished high school and began amateur boxing that she really found her love for fitness and fell in love with the benefits it had on both her physical and mental health. Kris wanted to be able to teach other women how simple it can be to start living a healthier lifestyle so they could ultimately become a happier and healthier version of themselves, which is why she became a trainer. The thing she loves most about being a trainer is that she gets to stand by the side of each one of her client’s and witness their growth.
For those hoping to kickstart their own fitness journeys, Kris reminds us that there is always a way to fit exercising and eating healthier into your life, and you don't need to flip your life upside down to do so. She says it is important find the best routine to suit you, as it will be more enjoyable and in return, stick to your routine for longer.
Kris’ training style is tailored to each individual client; however, she loves to focus on strength-based goals to make training more enjoyable.
When Kris isn’t at the gym, you’ll find her out eating with friends (she’s a big foodie) or having a beach day with her daughter.
