“Set small and achievable goals.”
After completing the Kokoda Trail in 2015, Michaela realised she was naturally very encouraging and thoroughly enjoyed helping others push through challenges they didn’t think they could overcome. Her trip ignited a fire in her to help people achieve goals in their health and fitness journeys.
The advice that Michaela gives to people who are just beginning their fitness journey is to set small and achievable goals. She says that focusing on the small steps makes you appreciate your progress more and isn’t as overwhelming as looking at the big picture. She also believes in the importance of never comparing yourself to others, as we are all running our own race.
Michaela likes to train her clients in a functional fitness style to provide them with strength, conditioning, mobility and stability which are key to living an optimal life. Using functional training is her preferred style as it allows her clients to understand their body on a higher level and reach their prime health.
Outside of the gym Michaela also trains in Mixed Martial Arts, enjoys time outdoors at the beach, hiking mountains, swimming in waterfalls, and simply just being in nature. She also likes to turn to art to keep her calm and grounded.

Do cars still exist or are we flying hovercrafts now?

A poke bowl is always a win for me, although I have so many favourites it becomes hard to pick just one!
